Welcome to the Moseley C.I.U. Affiliated club in Church Rd, Moseley B13. This large well appointed friendly club has excellent facilities and many separate rooms including a sports bar and a conference and function room you can hire. One of the larger rooms holds up to 200 people, has a stage and would be great for parties, wedding receptions etc. On the drinks side they have an excellent selection of beers and you would be hard pressed to ask for a spirit they could not provide. Jo, the club secretary, told us they wanted to improve the facilities in the sports bar and had recently ordered a 50” TV with all the expected channels. They also had a tired and under used darts area and wanted to improve the facilities and increase its usage. He had heard about OckeysRus and thought we would fit the bill perfectly (he wasn’t wrong). The Golden Hind, Kingstanding

The NEW manager Tony, told us "The Golden Hind Is undergoing a refit this week and will re-open on 27th Sept. I had an oche from OcheysRus in my last pub and wanted one here too" (see below).

Apart from having a refurb they will be opening as a new outlet for the popular pub/grub "SIZZLING" chain. The Golden Hind has a good sized car park and as well as the restaurant it also has several bars where you can just have a drink and maybe even a game of darts. When the sun shines they also have outdoor benches as well.

The newly refurbished Golden Hind looks like it's going to keep the good old traditional pub atmosphere and will definately be worth a visit the next time you are in the area.

Tony, the new manager told us

"I had an oche from OckeysRus at my last pub and it was brilliant. We had two dart teams there and the oche paid for itself in a matter of weeks". Tony also said "We are starting a dart team here too and the oche will definately help us do well. The new finish is also better than the early one I had. They have improved it and it looks really good and professional".

Pint Pot, Mere Green

We are a keen sports pub with sky sports, pool table and we know how to lay on a good darts competition which we run every first Friday of every month. To show we are serious, we had OckeysRus install two oches (so far) and intend to have more. We also have a good selection of beers etc and good quality pub grub.

We have had 3 oches fitted so far and the last one was a real challenge. We wanted it fitted where the wall seating bench was in the way. It was a real challenge but "OckeysRus" were amazing and came up with a specially designed oche to solve the problem brilliantly. We will recommend them to anyone.

This pub really is a keen sports pub. Especially where darts are concerned and to prove it they had the "OkeysRus" oches fitted to make sure.

They wanted to run serious dart competitions every month with large prize money and attract a good standard of player. "The only way to stop all the potential problems was to have OckeysRus install the oches and check everything. We know now there is absolutely              NO CHANCE OF ANY ARGUMENTS about a foot over the line or the dartboard at the wrong height or the oche being short or long, from the dart players the competition attracts".

They have plans to have more installed in the near future too

Red Lion, Erdington

Recently refurbished we now serve a comprehensive menu 12 to 6pm every day including 2 meals for £5 between 12 and 2pm Monday to Saturday.Live music extended now to Friday nights and Sunday afternoons and ranges from 50's & 60's tribute acts to the traditional "piano" nights in the lounge. We also have a large function room for hire for private parties, meetings and conferences at reasonable rates. A lot of the players had played on one of our oches at other venues and had managed to get the boss to take a look at what we do. The boss liked it and the rest is history. Players have told us their darts have improved since the oche from OckeysRus was installed.

Several of the regular players have bought one of the home oches (see "home" page) and say the old rubber mat they had at home is a "pain" to practice with and the new OckeysRus oches are brilliant".

Cross Keys, Erdington

This pub is a good old fashioned run boozer. We feel strongly about good service, food and beer with a clientele aged from 18 to 80. We are big on football and darts and they play a huge part at the Cross Keys. We have dart teams in the winter and summer leagues and having an oche fitted by "OckeysRus is very important. Visiting teams can see we are serious about darts and are professional. Tony, The manager.

Also we gain an advantage over other teams too. When we play on our OckeysRus oche, we get to practice throwing from the CORRECT distance so we are used to it. A lot of teams come here that are used to putting there foot over the line at there own place. So when they come here they have to throw from the correct distance and they are not used to it.

The Acorn, Erdington

In the busy high street of Erdington next to the church. Old fashioned traditional pub. Open all day with the usual beers available including Chestnut mild, Foster, Guinness, Kronenburg,draught Strongbow and John Smiths. We have a darts team, a pool team and a popular Friday night kareoke which gives us a friendly local pub atmosphere.

After our oche was installed, we had comments from the players saying it was much better to play on than the bar they stuck on the floor. Several said their darts had improved too.

You don't have to think about where your foot goes. As soon as your foot touches the oche you KNOW your foot's in exactly the right place. "You can concentrate on throwing your darts".

We are a good local pub with a family friendly bar and a secure rear garden where the children can play safely. We offer a good range of beers including Stella and Carling lager, brew bitter, mild and guinness. We also have a function room for hire for parties and wedding receptions etc: We have two pool teams and two dart teams and all of them are doing well especially the dart teams. Well run and established family pub offering a good range of beers including Black Label, Fosters, Kronenburg, Guinness, draught Strongbow, John Smiths and Theakstons best bitter. We have a good darts team now we have a proper oche as well as a pool table. Large patrons car park.

They said they were struggling to get a dart team together. Then they heard about "OckeyRus" and liked what they saw and had one fitted by us. Now they have a team and are looking at starting a second team.

We are a family friendly local who feel strongly about good service and atmosphere.

We have 2 functions rooms for hire for parties and wedding receptions etc. We have just had fitted an oche by "OckeyRus" which we feel is very important and shows we are serious about darts.

The Meadway has undergone some major improvements recently and the "OckeysRus" installation is only part of it. The new owners are looking to start a dart team or two so if you are interested then call in and get the details. UPDATE: In only 2 months they have now got 2 dart teams up and running. The management have told us "The revenue the dart teams have brought in has paid for the oche already. It's been a great INVESTMENT".
